County seeks ice storm reimbursements in budget talks
Aiken County Council asks lawmakers to include remaining Winter Storm Pax reimbursements in the final budget. Council Chairman Ronnie Young notes 2014 storm damage, seeking parity with other disasters and funds to offset rising pension costs with local government aid. Senate proposals reserve about 11.1 million for reimbursements. Aiken would be a top beneficiary.
