Explosive Response Network Aids Aiken Incident
Local agencies rely on partners like SLED ATF and the Sheriff Office for explosive detection and disposal. Two canine teams Trigger and Cooper trained by the Sheriff Office detect C4 and ammonia nitrate and assist eight to fourteen times monthly. ATF and FBI coordinate, with SLED providing state support and robots and bomb technicians deployed as needed.
