City plans left turn lane for center redevelopment
The city will seek a South Carolina DOT redesignation turning the southbound lane opposite the shopping center into a left turn only lane to adjust traffic for redevelopment. Halvorsen Development President Thomas Vincent said a new grocer could open by January 2013 with ground breaking possibly in June and a six month build. The Planning Commission meeting set for 7 p.m. at 214 Park Ave. S.W. in City Council chambers.
