NATO warned Bosnian Serbs to halt attacks on Gorazde or face immediate air strikes. U S Ambassador said strikes could begin Friday night and called for a pullback from the town center. A UN brokered cease fire was agreed for noon Saturday but shelling continued and the alliance warned other safe areas could trigger raids.

Outside Ventures Profitable For County's Probate Judges

Aiken County probate judge Sue Roe and deputy Angela Little earned outside income in 1993 from wedding services and real estate. Roe earned about 46 000 from office pay plus 37 676 from weddings.
