Arson probe after vacant house fire in Aiken
An abandoned house at Morgan Street and Edgefield Avenue was destroyed by fire. Fire crews arrived at 10:17 am to find the structure fully engulfed. Capt. Tom Galardi said the fire is suspicious since no electricity was connected and the house has been vacant for eight years. Lack of quorum delays airport action as the Aiken General Aviation Commission reschedules to May 4 at the airport to discuss recommendations and bids on the AWOS weather system.
