Nurses Nominated for South Carolina Nurse of the Year

Carrie McDuffie an ICU nurse and Denise Finkbeiner an emergency room nurse at Aiken Community Hospital are named as ACH representatives for the SC Hospital Association Nurse of the Year awards. Edgefield To Host Civil Rights March Stop In South Carolina

Activists marching through five Southern states to protest diluted voting rights plan a rally in Cordele Georgia today and will arrive in Edgefield on May 1. The campaign coordinates say 14 South Carolina counties will host rallies over 18 days as Jesse Jackson leads the effort amid local permit questions and past school protests.
