DHEC Upheld Ban On Aiken Angioplasty

DHEC board chairman Richard E. Jabbour upheld a ban preventing Aiken Regional Medical Centers from performing angioplasty. The April 15 order cites multiple violations of the Certificate of Need law and notes the case may proceed to Circuit Court. Attorney J. Gail Rahn was unavailable for comment.
