Plane crashes in Greenwood County killing four
Four men died Monday when a Cirrus plane broke apart after takeoff from Greenwood County Airport. Sheriff Lt. Jimmy Boggs said the craft crashed into a wooded area near a subdivision, about two miles from the airport. Pilot Troy Sufferling, 37, of Kennesaw, Georgia, was identified. passengers’ names remained withheld pending family notified. The aircraft was registered to Attic Aircraft Leasing in Marietta, Georgia.
