Murder victim to be flown home to Mexico
The body of Inez L. Luna Silva 27 was shot at his North Augusta home and died from a single gunshot wound. Officials say the death is a homicide and the body will be flown to Mexico for family burial after identification and pending toxicology results. Kasha M. Eubanks 22 of Cato Road tested positive for cocaine at the birth of a 7 lb 2 oz boy at Aiken Regional Medical Centers on April 8. The infant was placed in emergency protective custody while a warrant was issued for her arrest on unlawful neglect of a legal custodian. Eubanks has a history including prostitution conviction in 2005 and a 2006 cocaine exposure case. Bond set at 5000.
