Perry Wins 200000 Dot Grant To Finish Park Project
The town of Perry receives a 200000 grant from the South Carolina Department of Transportation to finish restoring the railroad depot into a town hall and extend a nearly 1000 foot park through downtown. Mayor Thomas Williams notes the funding will cover sidewalks walking trails benches trees and landscaping while the town provides a 40000 match and expands the walking track around the park.
