Rock Hill Easter Egg Hunt May Break World Record

At Cherry Park Rock Hill organizers claim the Great Easter Egg Classic drew 16 000 children who hunted 131 668 eggs Friday. Allan Miller says they set a world record surpassing the 120 000 eggs listed by Guinness though official word may come Sunday.

Woman in Goose Creek stabbings deemed mentally ill

Ui Sun Hudson, a 39 year old who moved from Korea to the United States in 1982, is charged with three counts of assaults with intent to kill after attacking three Goose Creek children with scissors on April 1. Probate Judge James Bridges ruled she is mentally ill and committed for treatment. Circuit Judge Danny Martin ordered state doctors to examine her for competency to stand trial.
