Jungle Book dazzles with stunning visual effects and peril
The Jungle Book directed by Jon Favreau delivers a visually dazzling live action adaptation with CGI animals that feel real. Idris Elba and Bill Murray anchor strong performances as Shere Khan and Baloo while Neel Sethi carries the young lead role. The film closely follows the 1967 story beats but raises intensity with modern dialogue and a few familiar songs. The narrative pace lags in places though the tech and design showcase remain exceptional.
