Syrian women block coast road in protest over detainees
Thousands of Syrian women and children with white flags and olive branches halted a coastal highway between Tartous and Banias to demand the release of hundreds rounded up in Bayda and Beit Jaad. Authorities released some detainees but the crowd vows to stay until all are freed. A 21 year old woman says militants raided her Bayda home and took her father.
