Teen charged in dual Aiken shootings
An 18 year old from Hampton Avenue, William Alexander Simmons Jr., faces five counts of attempted murder and multiple gun offenses for a Sunday shooting at Colony Woods Apartments and a February drive by shooting on Mississippi Avenue. No injuries occurred in the Mississippi incident. Simmons was previously arrested in 2015 for firing at six people on Brown Lane but those charges were dropped.
