Hall of Fame and Museum Opens in Aiken
The Hall of Fame and Museum in Aiken opened in 1977 with support from the City of Aiken the Aiken Jaycees and Joan Tower wife of Sports Illustrated editor Whitney Tower. The building a former carriage house, sits on Hopelands Gardens donated by Hope Goddard Iselin who left the property to the city after passing in 1970.

Docent Training at Aiken Racing Hall of Fame April 26
