Belvedere Voters weigh fate of water district and fire post
Belvedere residents go to the polls to decide whether to abolish the water and sewer district and to elect a new fire district commissioner. Analysts note no precedent for abolishing such districts and discuss potential legislative action. The referendum follows bills for a 93 mill tax to fund the district and possible purchase from North Augusta.
