Unidentified body found in swamp near Madison Road
Aiken County investigators found a Black man in his 60s face down in knee-deep mud at 464 Madison Road in North Augusta. He wore a blue knit shirt dark pants and Reebok shoes with a cigarette lighter and coral cigarettes in his pocket. The discovery was reported at about 2 30 p m Sunday by a man on an all terrain vehicle.
