High Hopes joins the soap opera line up
In a shift from network dominance, the syndicated soap High Hopes debuts in Canada and about 30 U.S. markets led by Bruce Gray as a divorced family counselor. The show trails network soaps by offering barter deals to stations and aims to spur more syndicated soaps, despite mixed forecasts from advertising and TV executives.
