Mrs Wartha Mitchell Urges Cruify Fulbright Over Carswell Vote
The Arkansas Gazette reports Thursday that Mrs Wartha Mitchell wife of Attorney General John Mitchell urged the paper to crucify U S Senator J William Fulbright for his vote against confirming Judge G Harrold Carswell. Mitchell supported Carswell whose Supreme Court nomination failed 51 45 on Wednesday.
