Wal-Mart Plans Westside Aiken Mall Development

Aiken plans a new Wal-Mart on the Westside with potential to draw additional businesses and restaurants. City officials Poe and Evans indicate the center will be west toward Augusta, near Downtown Business District bounded by Greenville and Union streets and the railroad cut.

College Board and Pearson Sued Over SAT Scoring Error

A Minnesota high school senior filed a lawsuit late Friday against the College Board and Pearson Educational Measurement over an SAT scoring error. The suit follows an October release that 4 411 students were under scored and over 600 were over scored. Attorney T Joseph Snodgrass said high stakes tests must be scored with 100 percent accuracy.
