Local Peach Crop Unfazed by Cold Front Says SC Peach Council
The South Carolina Peach Council says local peach crops should weather an incoming cold front with overnight lows around 31 degrees not causing significant damage. Executive Director Amy London notes 30s are near the threshold and recalls Easter 2007 when freezes devastated the crop. Temperatures rebound to the 50s to 70s through the week.
