Recount Fails to Alter New Ellenton Election Outcome

Aiken County recount confirms the mayoral and council results, with Democratic gains of four votes and Republicans up two. No incumbent or major rival styles shifted enough to overtake leaders Ricky Foster, Mike Kellems, or Mark Key for council seats. Uneven ballots and straight-ticket issues caused voids or split votes, but the overall outcome remained unchanged.
