Doe Employees Win United Way Special Honor at Aiken County
United Way of Aiken County awarded 1997 Gold Award to 559 Savannah River Site DOE employees for exceeding per capita giving in 1996. SRS Manager Dr. Mario P. Fiori accepted, while Dale Ormond was also honored for board service with Children's Place and exceptional volunteer efforts. The campaign surpassed its 1996 goal by reaching 2.38 million dollars.
