Belvedere Water and Sewer Ballot Wording Questioned
Belvedere residents challenge the April 13 referendum on abolishing the Belvedere Water and Sewer District over ballot wording. Douglas Treadway urged reprinting after the General Assembly approved different wording. Election officials could redraw ballots if the commission reprints them. The issue arises from a 93 mill tax and a prior 1982 district takeover.
