Students view Galapagos from classroom voyage in submersible
Wanda High School marine science class joins UC SC professor Scott White aboard the submersible Alvin for a two hour dive two miles down the Pacific floor. The trip, part of a $2 million NSF grant, aims to link plate tectonics to ocean chemistry and climate while students observe real time data and ask questions.
