A Maryland NIST team led by Jodie Pope tested three measurement methods at Sage Mill in Aiken County on March 24 and 25 to prove dispenser accuracy and help shape long term hydrogen fueling standards. Ernie Chaput noted field tests compare weight based, temperature pressure, and flow meter approaches to ensure accurate charging. Pope called the effort a proof of concept amid no existing standards.
Aiken County students in grades three through eight will take the new ACT Aspire timed tests this spring to measure growth in English reading writing math and science. Aspire tests run about one hour daily with a 30 minute writing section. English language arts and math are April 28 to 30 and science on May 5.
