Alken Gene Ross Stewart 84 retired Lt Commander US Navy died April 2 2014. funeral with full military honors scheduled at Shellhouse Funeral Home. Survivors include Pallister son David in England. Ferguson family and Hillview Baptist Church members. Stewart sons Shane and Brent with grandchildren and great grandchildren. Memorials to SPCA Albrecht Center Hillview Baptist Church or Calvary Chapel of Aiken encouraged.

Los Alamos resumes nuclear waste shipments to Texas

SC court rules donor not liable for seat license fee

A University of South Carolina booster who earned preferred seating in 1990 cannot be forced to pay a seat license fee instituted in 2008. George M. Lee III joined the Gamecock Club at the Lifetime Full Scholarship level, received seating benefits, and paid premiums and a life insurance policy.
