The unemployment rate remained at 7.3 percent in March, the highest since July 1985, with 9.2 million unemployed. Payrolls rose weakly by 19,000 in March, following a February gain revised down from 164,000, while retail trade shed 24,000 jobs and manufacturing declined slightly.
After an eight year pause the Hitchcock Woods Horse Show returns in Aiken with a day of hunter and rider competition at the refurbished show ring.
