Three more charged in Northside armed robbery case
The last three of four men tied to the Thursday morning armed robbery and attempted murder on the Northside are in custody. Quinten Gleaton Xavier Jones and Jevon Dounty all 18 face charges including attempted murder armed robbery kidnapping unlawful carrying of a pistol and firearm possession. Dority was later detained after appearing in court for an unrelated case. Christopher Basket 29 reported being forced into a vehicle and shot at during the assault near York Street Sunoco.

Aiken man sentenced to 35 years for murder
Keith Alan Fitzgerald, 53, pled guilty and was given 35 years for murder along with 35 years for two burglary counts and 30 to 10 year terms for armed robbery arson and grand larceny all to run concurrently for the 2008 murder arson of his cousin George Woltz in Aiken. Woltz was beaten tortured and died prior to the fire that destroyed his home on December 20 2008.
