A 16 year old was detained after a revolver protruding from his waistband was seen in a Richland Avenue parking lot around 7 PM Monday. Officers traced the vehicle and found a .38 revolver with five rounds in the car. the sister claimed ownership and the youth made threatening statements during arrest.
A 24 year old Aiken man faced criminal domestic violence charges after a cellphone dispute with his girlfriend. A 28 year old Warrenville man was charged with criminal domestic violence for assaulting his girlfriend at a Silver Bluff Road gas station. A 31 year old Warrenville woman was cited for shoplifting $54 in electronics on Richland Avenue. A 38 year old Aiken woman was charged with shoplifting $70 on Richland Avenue. A 35 year old North Augusta man was charged with DUI after found asleep on Richland Avenue, with a .30 breath. A 56 year old Aiken man faced disorderly conduct for resisting arrest on York Street. A burglary was reported on Dupont Drive. A Bath woman reported domestic assault by her husband during a dispute over leaving him. A Graniteville woman reported a phone scam claiming to be with the Sheriff's Office. A North Augusta man reported fishing items stolen from a boat on Scenic Lakes Drive. Two burglaries were reported on Avondale Lane Warrenville and Riverbirch Drive Aiken.
