Milosevic Wife Sought in Rival Politician Killing
Belgrade police sought an international arrest warrant for Mirjana Markovic amid claims of involvement in the 2000 slaying of former official Vuk Stambolic. Markovic, believed abroad in Russia, denied any part and called the charges political. Her daughter said she would not return for questioning.
