The Directors and Treasurers of Aiken Township announce the first annual session of the Aiken Institute to begin in the academy building on the 224 of Deptember at 9 o clock A M. It will run nine months under Principal W C Thackston and a corps of teachers including J R Mack Liszie Ravenel Ethel Brown and Maria Edgerton. The notice urges public patronage to support the school and its educational aims. There will be taught all branches normally offered in a first class classical academy.
