Pam Timmerman Chooses Alabama Basketball Career
Graniteville native Pam Timmerman, daughter of William and Carole Timmerman, is a sophomore on a basketball scholarship at the University of Alabama. She switched from swimming to college basketball after visiting Duke, citing Alabama’s winning tradition and strong marine science geology program as key factors. The Crimson Tide posted a 23–8 season, reaching the SCC finals and Mid-East NCAA regionals, while Pam balances classes and daily practice.
