South Aiken High Band Director’s Farewell Concert
In South Aiken on Tuesday the Band Director Jim Kit chings led a moving final concert before a farewell. The event, moved from May 3 on short notice, was praised for the South Aiken Band Boosters Club members who organized quickly as a fitting goodbye to a teacher and friend to many students. The piece also notes a separate health clinic where smokers discussed progress in the Freedom from Smoking program, highlighting reduced smoking and the aim to quit entirely.
