A farmers meeting doubled in Advance with another planned October 5.

Wilson has faith in the southpaw’s speed curves and spit ball and says Beaver may be sent to the Springfield farm if he doesn’t show strength for the Indianapolis team.
Rev CL Airhart a county resident marries Miss Evaline VanCleave of near New Market at Crawfordavills on a Wednesday morning. Ages given as fifty one and thirty three. The couple plan to live with her parents and move to Greencastle in January after a wedding trip to New Market.
An artful swindler presents as general agent for a Kansas firm selling tools like pinchers and wire cutters. He claims fifty plus farmer orders and seeks a trusted county agent to distribute and take new orders for a high commission, asking no cash but requesting a note for shipped tools. He later presses for collection on the note.
Mary Jane Coddington Whiteley died September 25 1911 at age 93 with 8 months and 25 days. She married William Whiteley in 1825 and had eleven children, four survive Francis Mary Enoch and Angeline Davis. She joined the Christian church in 1846 and rests at Old Providence near New Ross Indiana. funeral held at her daughter’s home in Anderson then at Old Providence grave with Brother Kibbey.
