Death of Sarah Rebecca Threlkeld a longtime Pisgah resident
Sarah Rebecca Threlkeld born December 31 1841 daughter of George and Sarah Threlkeld emigrants from Kentucky died September 1 1917 aged 75 years 8 months and 19 days at her farm home. She married Joseph S Beck October 18 1857 and left five children nineteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren with three deceased. She joined the Predestinarian Baptist church in 1864 and was active as wife mother neighbor and Christian. The funeral was at Pisgah Friday at 10 a.m. conducted by Rev C L Airhart burial at Pisgah Hankins funeral director.
