The case of James Pierson versus Pleasant N Lewis was settled out of court and dismissed. Pierson, of Jamestown, was struck July 18, 1914, at a crossing on East Maryland street in Indianapolis by an automobile owned and driven by Lewis, who faced claims of speeding and $2,500 damages.
