Mardy as secretary presents the quarterly health statistics ending September 30. Marriages numbered 33 in July and 16 in September, births total 148 with 71 male and 72 female. six stillbirths and four illegitimate births. Contagious diseases totaled three diphtheria, 43 scarlet fever, 14 typhoid fever cases. Scarlet fever cases declined in recent months. Lebanon Reporter.

Damaged by Fire At James Sandy Farm House

A fire destroyed part of a white house two and a half miles west of here lived in by Joseph Sutton after a defective chimney ignited a southeast room at about 12 30 p m last Monday. Neighbors aided the effort and the fire was extinguished. a ten foot square corner burned and furniture remained undamaged. Continental Insurance ordered repairs at company expense.
