Brakeman Killed by Train in Lebanon Yard Accident
Harve Barnett a 24 year old brakeman on the Chicago Division of the Big Four was killed while switching in Lebanon yards on Wednesday. He slipped from a flat car as a brake let go and was run over by the moving train, mangling his body. He died about 45 minutes after being taken to Cory Bretton’s undertaking. Barnett resided in Indianapolis.
