New Ross Indiana November 18 The house of William Butler burned Sunday morning at ten thirty. It is believed the fire started in the back part roof from a spark. Neighbors and residents rushed to aid as Miss Mildred Peterson warned others and a crowd gathered. Everything of value was saved except a kitchen cabinet and bedstead. coal in a shed near the house was also lost. The house was insured for 800 dollars and the Butler family will stay with Wayne Shelton for the present.

Auto Wreck Near Shannondale After Front Axle Melts
A touring car traveling sixty miles an hour west of Shannondale Sunday morning lost its front axle, collapsed into a telephone pole, and threw four passengers and the chauffeur into a field and roadside.
