Obituary for Omer Alonzo McClaine Funeral Rites Held
Funeral services for Omer Alonzo McClaine were held at Pleasant View Church at 2 o clock Saturday afternoon with Rev. D. B. Hartley officiating. He was buried at Pleasant Cemetery after dying from a complication of illnesses at his home. He was born in Boone County and leaves a widow and several siblings.

World War Hero Chiles P Plummer of Casper Honored
Casper Wyoming native Chiles P Plummer national vice commander of the American Legion embodies Western WWI spirit. At thirty eight he left law practice and four gal fonchapeau to serve twenty two months in France as captain of artillery in the One Hundred Sixteenth ammunition train within the Forty first division. He organized the George Vroman post at Casper and led efforts to aid disabled veterans earning national recognition as a director and later national vice commander.
