Otto Whiteley moved to a farm near Raintown the first house on the west side of the road north of Raintown. The patch comprises 172 acres and is described as a good farm. He invites everyone in the vicinity to stop by at or near 11 o clock any day in the year. Local visitors include Harvey Mrechant and family from the city and Joe Smith and family from Jamestown. Joseph Sandlin and Mrs. Robert Sanford of Lebanon visited relatives over Sunday. Charley Wall was here Monday. Walker broke porker records in Indianapolis, selling five hogs for a total of 343.37 dollars.

Addison Overstreet Dies Suddenly in Advance Community
Addison Overstreet born November 13 1856 in Virginia spent boyhood days there and lived in Cincinnati before moving to Advance. He died Monday evening after visiting Wm Kohn to help care for him, leaving a legacy as a genial caring uncle and friend to many. He belonged to the Red Men lodge and the Odd Fellows in Jamestown and was connected with ME Church in Cincinnati.
