Thorntown residents attend more basketball than prayer meetings
The Thorntown Argus Enterprise notes in a humorous contrast that more people attend a single basketball night in town than attend monthly prayer meetings when the latter are free. It also reports on local social visits and a North Salem Church banquet organized by Rev. Tinsley with seventy six plates and a program featuring church officers and teachers.
