State Sunday School Convention Set for Marion in June
Indiana Sunday School leaders will gather in Marion City in June 1924 for the Forty Second Annual State Sunday School Association convention. Festivities include Rev. Mu Hegeent and Rev. Spillman, Mrs. J. W. Barnes of Newark, Rev. Herbert Moninger, and Rev. Neil McPherson, with lectures, bible studies, and a public program. Special railroad rates and daily entertainment are offered for attendees.

Rural Mail Signals Required for Carriers Beginning July 1996
The Fourth Assistant Postmaster General issued instructions mandating rural box owners to place signals on their mail boxes indicating mail for carrier collection. Starting July 1 1996 carriers will not open boxes without visible signals. Patrons without signals must attach a device clearly showing mail to be collected. simple devices suffice.

Mrs Fannie Gill aged 88 died last Saturday night at her home northwest of Advance after paralysis. Born in Henderson County Kentucky Sept 23 181% she married George Washington Gill in 1830s and had seven children, two died early. She was oldest of thirteen siblings. County fourteen Christian churches plan July fifth Sunday event
The county meeting committee met at Central Christian church in Lebanon to set the fifth Sunday in July at the fairgrounds. Ora McDaniel was the local delegate. The Ladies Aid will serve cream and cake next Saturday night under the tent with donations cheerfully received by Mrs Burke, Mrs Sparks and Mrs Lawson Brown. No preaching services are available that night, but entertainments are planned for Saturday.
