Soldier Brings News Of Nathan Beebee’s Death In France
Mr Beebee arrives from France on furlough to Whitestown and visits Mrs Eva Jones of Ladoga with a harrowing message. Nathan Beebee, a close friend to the messenger, was killed instantly in battle. The man tells of his own captain and many others dying, and that he buried Nathan alone with solemn reverence, delivering Nathan’s watch and possessions.
