Notice to members states a meeting will be held Friday night January 2 1914 to elect a trustee for a three year term. Wilson T Beck chairs the meeting with Chase McClaine as clerk.
The Christian Lantern Slide and Lecture Bureau presents The Land of the Incas at the Christian church for Christmas Eve advance. Rev. R B Ev erette Lucas, booked by the lecture bureau, will deliver a colored slide show of Panama to Cape Horn with 107 views. Admission 15 cents adults 10 cents children.
Notice to Members of Nipmuck Tribe No. 141 dues for this quarter are one dollar and ten cents. All dues should be paid on or before Friday, Dec. 26. Fraternally in F. F. and C Chas. E. McClaine, C. of R. Golda and Albert Kerridle together with Harve Coulter and wife of Lebanon spent Sunday with relatives at Lynnsburg.

The Hall family arrives as Rev Oakes F Hall takes charge with Mr Hil at New Ross for the year. Hall, formerly of the local church, is praised for past work with youth and plans to strengthen small churches while his wife has drawn many warm friendships here. The church gave a reception at Hall's home Wednesday night.
Wingate basketball team beat Advance High School 23 to 12 on the road Friday night. Stonebraker led with 19 of Wingate's 23 points as the champs display speed and improve on last year's pace.

A Christmas tree event is planned at Smith Schoolhouse Friday afternoon. James town figures attend a funeral in Mace. Other local movements include Indianapolis trip for Caplinger relation, and farm activity with Jake Beaver building a new barn.
Attendance at Sunday School last Sunday was 111 with a collection of $2.50 for bibles. William Werkera will meet fret Saturday afternoon each month. Sunday School is every Sunday at 10 o clock with a call to be on time next Sunday. Preaching services occur every second and fourth Sunday of each month, both morning and evening.
