Lewis Wall dies after long illness in Advance community
Lewis Wall a longtime Advance resident and merchant died December 2 at Long Hospital in Indianapolis after a prolonged cancer battle. He had retired from business, lived on a family farm near Shelly County, and remained active in the North Christian Church in Advance. He is survived by his wife Nannie and three children Trevore-Wretha Patterson, Lora Thayer, and Austin Wall, plus four grandchildren and several siblings. Funeral services were held today at the North Church with burial at Old Union.
