Clyde Moss alias red Ross of New Ross Indiana was given fifteen days at the Marion County Workhouse for relating a false tale to police about an imaginary highwayman, robbery of $80, and a canal dumping. Detectives found the story deceptive and Moss confessed to intoxication and falsehoods. He claimed intoxication caused a fall into a canal and said he had no money and was not robbed.
