Death of Prominent Citizen Henry J. Frazier
Henry James Frazier died Tuesday night after a yearlong decline. Born May 16, 1846 in Licking County Ohio, he moved to Boone County at 13 and lived there most of his life. He married Talitha Wall in 1870. leaves a wife a daughter and five grandchildren. A carpenter by trade he helped develop the region and was active in Christian, Masonic and Knight of Pythias circles. Funeral arrangements await word from grandson Sylvan Yager in Washington D C with plans for a vault at Pleasant View and a procession by lodge members.

David Youngs aged about 66 died Monday at his Shannondale home after visiting his sister Mrs. James Galladay for weeks. He was buried yesterday in Shannondale. the funeral was conducted by Rev. Williams of the Shannon dale church. He belonged to the I.O.O.F. lodge.
