Readable scraps describe a door sign for the Adelaide Times Office and an opposite Adelaide Commercial Exchange. The text appears as damaged OCR fragments with unclear full context.
The undersigned advertises cedar 16 18 19 and 20 feet long and cedar boards of all sizes plus desks 12 3 11x3 2x3. Beams 20 to 24 feet. Also large stock of battens 7x2 inches and lengths to 26 feet. Kensington residence to let offers eight rooms cellar garden and stabling for two horses with well and storehouse.
Rambler Samuel Hart will for the season at BEDE in Wakefield to return thanks to his supporters. He will be at the Black Bull Livery Stables and nearby shopkeepers for the Saturday during the season. He is a sixteen hands high horse with strong bone and good temper, suitable for retail business. The notice notes expected arrival of British Sovereign and vessels with goods in late September 1850.
An 19th century notices page advertises a public-house lease sale in the Market Place with agent details and a large arrival of spring draperies. It highlights fabrics, lace, parasols, bonnets, stays, muslins, and fashion goods from S. Marks and partners with展示 of new stock for tropical climates and Indian Australian markets.
Fragmentary OCR reveals a history of horses bred by John Xe and Fag with mentions of Wend, Launceston racing in 1845, Rambler a derby winner, and a £500 side bet. It notes well watered paddocks at 2s 1d weekly, care liability, and contact references Bath Hindley street, Jas Basnornwares.
Milton import from Van Diemen's Land praised for Midland show prizes and Mount Barker award. Egremont, also imported, won Launceston St Ledger and Government Plate at Oatlands. Both offered on terms with mares paddocked fourteen days free. Stanfords & Burley announce sale at Meadows on July 4 1850.
Ten farmers are informed that the well known horse Improvver will stand to cover this season at Norman's Willaston ad Bere Toe and the Slipsie ee. Servicing every fortnight on Lyndoch fonday and Tuesdays Wednesdays at Lodge Home Palace and Saturddayn. Also at Mr B Greig's Stables pase Aste on Tuesdays Wednesdays and 22nd Taly 22nd 1850.

Also on Tuesday at Mr Bendya Cre Kaya New fm Sampoon in dark bawih Mack pains by whip. product of De Wittanee took first prize at Campbell in 1844 as heat three year old Cart Stallion and was sold to Mr Collett of the New River for 340 guineas. He is perfectly gaited and praised by judges as the best fathors in the province with strong earnings reported per week.
